The latest Metal Gear Solid 5 Easter Egg to be discovered is one of the more amusing ones. It takes place at Mother Base, and is all about the Mother Base crew celebrating the birthday of “Big Boss”, aka Snake. As players may recall, the opening segment of Metal Gear Solid 5 features a doctor (that still looks suspiciously like a certain real world head transplant doctor, in our opinion) that asks Snake all sorts of questions, including his date of birth....

The Bidens are expected to arrive in Washington D.C. around 1:30 p.m. ahead of their Independence Day barbecue for military families, which is set to begin at 5 p.m. Biden will deliver remarks to celebrate the occasion, according to the White House. Polls conducted this week by Insider, Ipsos and Politico asked voters how they felt about Harris after Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, officially announced the pick Tuesday. Participants in an Insider poll, which collected 1,106 responses between August 11 and 12, were asked: “Joe Biden has selected Sen. Kamala Harris of California as his running mate. How do you feel about this decision?” Biden’s supporters were the most satisfied with the choice, with around 64 percent of his supporters answering they were “somewhat” or “very” satisfied with Harris as the nominee....

Michelle Young, Rachael Kirkconnell and Bri Springs are the three women who will get to spend some overnight time with James this week. Hernandez is now charged in the deaths of Safiro Furtado and Daiel Abreu at a South End intersection in Boston on July 16, 2012. A Suffolk County grand jury handed down the indictments Thursday morning. Hernandez is currently jailed in Bristol, Mass. for Lloyd's murder, Suffolk County district attorney Daniel Conley said at a Thursday morning press conference that he is "quite confident" evidence will prove that the former Patriots tight end is "the principal, the shooter, and the person responsible for the two lives lost....

Bear the Australian koolie excelled as a rescue dog last year when he helped save dozens of koalas from catastrophic Black Summer bushfires. For his efforts, 6-year-old Bear was given the special recognition award by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) during a ceremony at the U.K. House of Lords last month.
